    Past Grant Programs

As the world’s largest and leading non-profit funding organization for Alzheimer’s and dementia science, the Alzheimer’s Association offers funding programs throughout the year to reflect emerging scientific areas, to address gaps in knowledge and support investigators across their career stages.

    Active Grants

Our grant program supports investigators at every professional stage and includes categories designed to address gaps in research efforts.

The Alzheimer’s Association works with the International Research Grant Program Council and Medical and Scientific Advisory Group to ensure our programs are responding to and supporting the evolving scientific field. To that end, the following is a listing of the Alzheimer’s Association International Research Grant Program’s funding opportunities that were previously offered. In some cases, these programs will be offered again in the future. For any questions, reach out to grantsapp@alz.org.

The list below is provided for historical context related to the Association's grant funding. Past grant awards reflect the state of science at the time they were awarded. As science rapidly evolves, the Association regularly evaluates what areas of research to support; therefore, what the Alzheimer's Association funded in the past may not be funded again. This list is not comprehensive of all grants previously awarded.
